Hello and Welcome to Home petite Home!

 My name is Sue Kirkham and I hope you enjoy your experience of shopping with us. 

 Just a little bit of history as to how Home petite Home came about.

   From an early age I have always had an interest in Dolls Houses, but it wasn't until the early 1990's that I finally managed to purchase my own Dolls House kit, a Victorian Mansion.

After seeing the finished product I was asked if I would be interested in reproducing the same house for a neighbour... ...and so began the first of many commissions to build, paint, decorate and light dolls houses.

 
A few years ago I was asked to undertake a Dolls House commission for Royal Doulton Visitors Centre, Burslem, in Staffordshire, that would be used to feature their Bunnykins range.

With a background in graphic design, I've always been creative and  enjoy the time spent, and challenge of, creating in miniature... 

So I began to make unique miniature food and accessories, which have been used by others to give their miniature properties that special touch!

 I have supplied Dolls House shops in the UK with everything from bacon slices to battenburg cakes, as well as using ebay to sell my handmade miniatures worldwide!!

  And basically that brings us right up to 2010,

on the worldwide web!
